Event Description:

A fully supported bike ride from the ferry at La Pointe, Madeline Island 7 miles to the Big Bay Town Park where beautiful beaches abound along Lake Superior.  A couple hours at the beach for fun and whatever food you brought, then leave at 2pm back to the ferry.  14 miles total with additional riding options for those who want to continue riding un-escorted.

 

Support vehicles, maps, water/Gatorade, snacks and escort will be provided.  You must arrange transportation to the island.  We will have a truck at the La Pointe ferry dock available to transport any gear your family would like to have at the park (coolers, packs, etc ) You will need to leave no later than 10am from the Bayfield dock in order to make the 10:30am ride from La Pointe.  We will leave the park at 2pm and head back to the La Pointe ferry dock.  Car ferry information at www.madferry.com .  Any questions; email us at info@northcoastcycling.com or call at 715-779-3283.

If you're coming from Bayfield, you must catch the 10am ferry boat at the very latest. Ferry fees will need to be paid by participant.
