Decades of research revealed the physical, emotional, and mental health benefits derived from spending reflective time in nature.

Joan Vorderbruggen will guide us into deeper connections with nature — and better health.

Speaker:  Joan Vorderbruggen, author and certified Forest Therapy Guide, Bircheart Shinrin-Yoku.

Joan discovered forest bathing through her work as an architect and teacher researching the healing potential of human/nature connections. Having personally experienced transformative benefits from nature, she trained through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and became a certified forest therapy guide. Joan lives among the lakes, hills, forests, and prairies of West Central Minnesota, and gets outdoors daily no matter the weather.
