DESCRIPTION:A Traditional Ojibwe Beaded Earring Workshop Join Ramona Morrow and learn traditional beadworking skills as you craft your own beaded earrings during this special workshop. Ramona Morrow is a member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and descendant of Yankton Sioux who lives on the Lac Courte Oreilles reservation near Hayward\, Wisconsin. Ramona has been a member of the Indian Arts and Crafts Association\, and has showcased her work at a variety of Indigenous markets\, art galleries and fairs. Morrow has taught Beading\, Traditional Native Techniques\, and Native American History since 2017 at Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University. Morrow's artwork incorporates the Ojibwe Floral of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe tribe techniques she loves passing on to others\, including her children and grandchildren. Guests will have a break for lunch food is not provided. We encourage guests to bring food and beverages.
