Event Description:
The annual “Connecting Cultures” gathering features living history presenters who share their knowledge and engage visitors in the many aspects of life during the fur trade era. Take an up-close look at different elements of 19th-century fur trade era including a candle making activity for kids; A recreation of an 1800s fur trade encampment featuring tin smithing; birch canoe repair; candle making, surveying, woodworking, weaving, and more! Your ticket includes the Connecting Cultures exhibition and Madeline Island Museum general admission access.  The event is open from 10 AM to 4 PM Friday through Sunday.
