Join Holly Marie Tourdot for her presentation about her journey into twisted twig furniture that began in 2010 with her objection to the spraying of toxic chemicals around her home on Madeline Island. She had concerns for the health of our ecosystem. Believing that if we exploited buckthorn, as we do other natural resources, we will eradicate it in no time.

But then in early 2023, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She almost didn’t finish her project. The stakes are high. We must stop the ecocide. Our lives depend on it.
